<p>My husband and I will be spending January in southern India. We want to go from Goa to Mysore, Ooty, Kochi, Puducherry and Chennai. The best way would be with a car/driver and to use local guides for sightseeing along the way. I've used Swagatam Tours (www.swagatam.com) for several custom trips in India. They are reliable, easy to deal with and take credit cards. If you do a search on the message board, as well as the home page (for articles), you can learn more about them.
