I would like information on using a Sprint phone while traveling to South Africa, Botswana, and surrounding countries.
The Sprint website was not helpful. Anyone has experience with this? Is purchasing another inexpensive phone a better option? Suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Thank you, I did and I was pleasantly surprised that in Europe and South Africa the unlimited data plans work without surcharges.
Voice calls are $2.50 a minute. In the rest of Africa data is prohibitive, as are voice calls. Thanks for your guidance.
