Using a company called tourhq for custom tours

Has anyone used www.tourhq.com to find a private guide for a custom tour? I like to book directly with a guide rather than use a service like viator.com so I can ask questions of the guide and set up an itinerary for one or a few days. Also viator has let me down in a few cases. This also often eliminates at least one middle-man in the booking process
