I live in France and travel all over Europe. There is absolutely no need for this very expensive kind of card if you have a regular bank debit card (eg Visa or Mastercard debit card) with a 4-digit pin. That will work in any bank ATM machine. Even with the 2-3% card/exchange fee, you will be much better off. Just advise your bank before leaving home of the different countries where you will be using your card.Travelex gives really bad exchange rates, so you would lose quite a lot of money up front, when you first buy the card.
