My wife & I will be in Berlin for a day next September. We're looking for a private English speaking guide who's rates are reasonable. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you. Gerald Becker

I used Tours by Locals for a guide in Berlin in February 2019. She was $350 for 3 hours and specialized in the history of architecture in Berlin. She was excellent if you have a background in architectural history, hard to follow if you dont. AND very expensive. This company offers other topics....but they are expensive.

You might try Jeremy Ginsberg email: jeremy@theberlinexpert.com who charges 60 to 90 euros for a group (not each person). He is an American expat who has lived in Berlin for almost 20 years. website is: www.theberlinexpert.com He also does private tours - but am not sure of the rate.
