I'm looking for new places to go in January to get out of Alaska winters. I'm solo and prefer small group travel. I've been to all the "normal" places, so off-beat suggestions welcome.

For small group travel, take a look at the British companies like Explore Worldwide (www.exploreworldwide.com); Exodus (www.exodus.co.uk); Travelbag (www.travelbag.co.uk) -- these are well-priced adventure companies with interesting itineraries.
