I have to spend a night in Muscat on my way home from Oman. Any recommendations for a hotel that won't require me to take out a second mortgage? Thanks!

Have you looked at www.agoda.com for hotel bookings. You can sort by quality of hotel, then read the reviews. There is also a way to sort by location. I've found this site very helpful.
