Hi everyone,
My wife and I will be traveling to Hong Kong from the U.S. next month. We're thinking of taking the MTA train from the airport to Hong Kong Island (Central station). MTR, the organization that operates the trains, provides free bus service from that station along two routes, to various hotels whose names appear as part of each route's information on the MTA web site. The hotel we will be staying at, J Plus Boutique, on Irving Street in the Causeway Bay area, is not on the hotel list but is fairly close to hotels listed for one of the free shuttle bus routes.
Three questions:
First, for anyone who has used these free shuttle buses: Do you know if the bus driver will take a passenger directly to her or his hotel, though the hotel is not shown on the list, but lies maybe a few blocks from the route typically taken?
Second: Am I correct that the trains and buses involved have the space to carry the passengers' luggage?
Third: Does anyone know an e-mail address for the MTR customer service department that I can write to, to learn their current policy on this subject? (I've checked the MTR web site and cannot locate an e-mail address. (The site lists many phone numbers, as for individual stations.)
Thanks,
Mike
