Four family members want to include a short trip to Corsica and Sardinia in our travel plans for 2013. Does anyone have any experiences to relate?

Saga
i'm now toward the end of Saga's tour to both islands. Check www.saga.co.uk for the itinerary. I'll post a report here in a week or two--after I get home.
Sardinia and Corsica
Just completed a fantastic trip to the subject islands via the UK and France and home via N. Italy, France and the UK with Leger Holidays, Silver Service of the UK. This was the best managed and most smoothly operated trip that I've ever been a part of. The trip included 6 ferry crossings, 2 of which were overnight journeys on luxury liners. All coach seats offered extra room and a toilet facility was available on board. Water, snacks, fruit soda, tea and coffee were continually available throughout the tour which also featured an excellent itinerary. In addition to several long stops on Cosica, including Corte, Ajaccio, and Bonaficio, and even more in Sardinia, we also had free time in France in Paris, Toulon Dijon, Avignon, and Millau. We also visited Genoa and Mt. Blanc in Italy on the return voyage. There were 4 interesting and reasonably priced optional tours, as well as several unadvertised ones in Sardinia. This company offers 2 week trips covering all of Europe and I very highly recommend them.
