We used Sita Tours to go to Bhutan, their website www.sitatours.com look under "India" catagory also Tibet. We also used Third Eye Travel for a trip to Nepal, but 3rd Eye also does Bhutan and Tibet. Both offer good services. We did Tibet on an earlier trip with OAT as part of their China trip. I would recommend 3rd Eye for your trip as they are pretty flexible.

Namgay Dorji was my guide when I visited Bhutan. He has started his own company- Blessed Bhutan Adventure (www.blessedbhutan.com) In the past, he has guided for Geographic Expeditions, Mountain Travel Sobek Tibetan Cultural Tours and Treks, Butter Field Robinson and Explore. He has been in the guiding business more than 20 years.
A friend and I traveled to Bhutan with Abercrombie and Kent in May of 2005. This was a very well planned trip with an wonderful local tour guide. All arrangements were excellent and the country is a marvelous place to visit. A & K also arranged a private trip for us to visit the Taj Mahal, again an excellent trip. I am sure they could also arrange a trip to Tibet. I have traveled with them to Africa and they go out of their way to make sure their clients are very satisfied.

I went to Bhutan with Intrepid Travel 3 years ago. (Based in Australia but has an office in the US in Colorado) . Trip,was excellent well priced and was with a small group of only 8. Was able to hike all the way to the Tiger's Nest by donkey and foot! Spent one night with a local family. Altogether a memorable trip and is highly recommend if you are adventurous and in good physical conditiion.

Bhutan
Tibet is not a likely part of your Bhutan trip. Close on the map, but not politically. Consider Nepal, Assam or Darjeeling extension instead.
