Myanmar Travel Ltd arranged a 3-week tour for our group of 3 people in Feb 2010. I highly recommend this company. Arranging the tour via email was easy with my questions/concerns answered promptly & clearly. The guide was great, spoke good English and couldn't do enough for us. Accommodations were very comfortable, and we had a wonderful time.

Another company you might consider is Journeys Within (http://www.journeys-within.com/). We used them for Cambodia and were very pleased; we are planning on using them for Myanmar next year. Company is run by a couple of American expats based in Siem Reap who also run an NGO there organizing much needed well projects as well as a school program.

I would rather choose to travel with a local agent than any third or international company as it is the best way to contribute some assistance to Burma alone and its people. I am satisfied with Burma Senses Travel & Tours who did arrange for me a wonderful trip last month and would be without doube, recommending them.
