World’s largest fountain, in Dubai

The Palm Fountain, on the coast of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, was named the world’s largest fountain by Guinness World Records when it began operating on Oct. 23.

Located at The Pointe complex of shops and restaurants on the Palm Jumeirah artificial island, the fountain is nearly 79,000 square feet in area and features water jets that spout up to 350 feet into the air.
