Pakistan earthquake

An earthquake measuring 5.8 in magnitude occurred in eastern Pakistan on Sept. 24, killing at least 37 people and injuring more than 500. The quake was centered near the city of Mirpur in Pakistan-administered Kashmir, where a number of homes, many of which were constructed of unreinforced concrete blocks, collapsed.
