Light show, Córdoba

In Córdoba, Spain, an hour-long sound-and-light show — with light projections on many ponds and fountains — takes place nightly all year long at the Alcázar, or Fortress of the Christian Monarchs (Calle Caballerizas Reales s/n, Córdoba; phone +34 957420151). 

Available at the gate, tourist information offices and hotel desks, tickets cost €7 (near $8) adult or €4.80 senior (over 65) and can also be booked online at http://english.turismodecordoba.org/seccion/cordoba,-the-light-of-culture---show-at-the-castle-(alcazar) .

The show starts at 9, 10 & 11 p.m. Tues.-Fri. and 8, 9:30 & 10:30 p.m. Sat.-Mon. On three days each week, guests can arrive early to visit the castle’s garden, included in the ticket price. The garden opens at 4:30 p.m. Sat., 2:30 p.m. Sun. and 8:30 a.m. Mon.
