Moscow Metro derails

A Moscow Metro train jumped the tracks between stations on July 15, killing 23 people and injuring more than 250 others. The train was traveling toward the city center when it derailed between the Slaviansky Boulevard and Park Pobedy stations west of the city. A power surge was blamed for the crash.
