Cameroon kidnappings

The US Department of State warns against travel to Cameroon, particularly the Far North region, where the Boko Haram terrorist group is active and has actively targeted foreign tourists for kidnapping. On April 4, attackers kidnapped two Italian priests and a Canadian nun from their residences in Tchere, about 60 kilometers from the Nigerian border.
