Funniest Thing for October

Tell ITN about the funniest thing that ever happened to you while traveling in a foreign country. There are no restrictions on length. Barbara, my travel buddy, spoke a little Arabic and I let her take the lead during our road tour in Morocco. In Erfoud, we ate at an outdoor café (many flies and much charm) and I asked Barbara to translate from the six items on the chalkboard. I chose No. 2 and she had No. 6.

The waiter laughed out loud as a patron came to our table and informed us that we were ordering from the Arabian horse race results.

Traveling is a lot of work and hard sometimes but always worth it!
